Parents' home, Leytonstone

The world’s most famous footballer grew up in his parents' terraced home on a run-of-the-mill street in Leytonstone, East London.

In the mid-1990s, whilst playing for Manchester United, Becks moved into a four-bedroom, three storey house in Worsley, Manchester. It may have been modest in comparison with Beckham’s later homes, but it still fetched the sum of £400,000 when it was sold in 2005.
