With homes in London, Madrid and the South of France, David Beckham has built a property empire from humble beginnings in an East London terrace. We look at how he climbed the property ladder.
Parents' home, Leytonstone
The worlds most famous footballer grew up in his parents' terraced home on a run-of-the-mill street in Leytonstone, East London.
In the mid-1990s, whilst playing for Manchester United, Becks moved into a four-bedroom, three storey house in Worsley, Manchester. It may have been modest in comparison with Beckhams later homes, but it still fetched the sum of £400,000 when it was sold in 2005.
