A Hoosiers debut album is on the way following 'Ray' and we'll bring you a preview of that in a few weeks time (be sure to check out Mr A and Worst Case Scenario when we do) and you can be sure it'll be as visual an experience as it is audio, as the band boasts a taste for costumes (but the character has to have a name starting with 'S') and an in-house cartoonist.
The Hoosiers are a pretty kooky set of guys, there's evidence on a well-known video sharing site if you care to look, but we thought 'well OK, let's reveal the true life of an up-and-coming band', so to find out what really makes them tick and how are they coping with the stresses and strains of a rock and roll lifestyle, so we gave them a video camera and told them to record the highs and low of a week in the life of The Hoosiers.
Full of get up and go, a lack of talent for football proved no hindrance to Irwin and Alfonso as they blagged a scholarship for said sport at the University Of Indianapolis in the USA. A few months of 'study' revealed their sporting shortcoming and so they rightly decided to focus on their music, which after all was their first true love. The trio was completed when the pair ran into Martin back in London, who shared their love of The Cure, The Police, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, The Stokes and The Hives.
