Nicole: A solo doll

Here's a great chance to watch an exclusive live performance from Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls fame!

Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger is not only beautiful and talented but also one of the nicest people you could meet. She popped into AOL's Los Angeles studios earlier this year to record a session and interview, and throughout she was joking about and generally having a good time!

With a full backing band, well-worked dance routines, Nicole ran through some highlights from her excellent debut album Her Name Is Nicole. As befits her mixed background, the tracks Baby Love, Happily Never After and Super Villain all highlight different sides of the singer. She breaks into the set with Baby Love - a romantic yet catchy tune, produced on the album by Black Eyed Peas' main man Will.i.am.

She keeps the mood mellow with Happily Never After and then brings it up with the more club-worthy dance number Super Villain, giving the band a chance to settle in to a nice groove and show off some of their collective skills behind the lady herself.

After the performance, the budding pop star was nice enough to sit down with us and chat about her past, present and future - and with looks, talent and her optimistic attitude, her future looks quite assured.
